Sponsored by the European Commission, the competition rewards the best e-health and m-health solutions developed by European SMEs.
Minddistrict is the first Netherlands-based company to win an award in the competition and the only e-mental health business which was selected for the finals.
CEO Mark Willems presented Minddistrict’s solution at the finals, which were held at the e-Health Week conference in Riga, Latvia in May. He commented: “This is a highly prestigious competition, and we are delighted that the judging panel have given recognition to Minddistrict’s seamless e-mental healthcare solutions. We hope this will help to increase understanding of e-mental health care and how it can deliver improved outcomes for patients, as well as raising our own profile within the EU e-healthcare sector.”
Minddistrict has pioneered e-mental healthcare, building a market leadership position in the Netherlands, where e-mental health is increasingly integrated into ‘blended’ care solutions. The company is also working with leading institutions in Germany and the UK, where interest in e-mental health is growing rapidly.
