Peter de Haas is IT Services Centre Manager for Breezeholme, responsible for designing and implementing systems solutions for our portfolio companies. He works closely with other Heads of Services, particularly Finance and HR, to provide consistent and high quality IT support. In addition, Peter is Central Services Manager for our Dutch businesses, ensuring each company receives the right functional support so they can focus on their core business. Based in the Netherlands, he is fluent in Dutch and English and also speaks German.
Before joining Breezeholme, Peter worked for 15 years in the healthcare sector in the Netherlands. As Head of Daily Management, he had responsibility for Finance, HR and Admin functions in large hospitals, worked on IT and Quality Management projects, and led process improvement programmes. Peter has taught Information Management at the University of Enschede (now Saxion University of Applied Sciences) and has successfully run his own IT consultancy.
With a background in Finance, HR and Administration as well as IT, Peter brings a multi-disciplinary perspective to developing effective, well-integrated IT solutions. He has a collaborative style, and looks for opportunities to share skills and knowledge with colleagues to develop cross-functional communication and understanding. He is passionate about process design and continuous improvement, and has a strong attention to detail. Running his own consultancy has given Peter an extra level of insight into the challenges faced by growing businesses.
