From 1992 to 1997, Pim was Managing Director of the Dutch subsidiary of construction materials company Halfen, part of German group Franz Haniel & Cie GmbH. He then joined Halfen’s board in Germany, taking responsibility for international business, subsidiaries and agents. In 2003, he became CEO of Life Sciences resourcing specialist DOCS International, growing annual revenues and employee numbers fivefold whilst creating a network of eight European offices. DOCS was sold to ICON Clinical Research in 2007, delivering a significant return for shareholders. Since 2010 Pim has been involved with a number of businesses active on the crossroads ofLife Sciences, Business Services and Technology, as M&A advisor, advisory board member and/or investor. 

A strategist and visionary entrepreneur, Pim has a track record of building successful European businesses, and sits on various advisory boards. He is a pragmatic problem-solver and lateral thinker with outstanding sales, negotiation and analytical skills, and strong financial insights. He forges long-term working partnerships with business partners based around his determination and high levels of personal integrity. He is also a motivational leader who aims to inspire others and works with empathy and intuition at all organisational levels and across different cultures.
